Wholesale Parts Shipping Coordinator

Responsibilities  

This position is an early-shift role, from 5:00AM to 3:00PM daily. There is some but not much flexibility in the start and end time for the right candidate.

This position is responsible for preparing parts shipments that are delivered overnight for delivery on our trucks which leave typically around 7:30AM; and then has various inventory management responsibilities throughout the day. You must be organized and careful to ensure the right parts are delivered to the right clients on the right vans.

Qualifications    

You must be physically able to move automotive parts weighing as much as 50-60 pounds as well as body panels with substantial bulk; carry them from our facility and load them into delivery vans.

Automotive Service Dispatcher

Lot Attendant/Porter

Responsibilities  

  • Maintain inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles, replenishing all vehicle fluids as needed, and replacing batteries when necessary.
  • Place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.
  • Keep lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards.

Parts Counterperson

Responsibilities  

  • Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.
  • Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Converse effectively/efficiently regarding customer parts status.
  • Read and understand the parts catalog when looking up and speaking to specific parts.
  • Answer phone calls, provide price quotes and other information to customers.
  • Review body shop estimates to verify the parts ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate.
  • Provide high level service to both internal and external customers.
  • Pull/fill orders from stock and maintain weekly bin checks to ensure accuracy of stock.
  • Notify parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
  • Locate out-of-stock parts from outside source and submit an emergency order, if necessary.
  • Make sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order.
  • Receive payment from retail customers or obtains credit authorization.

Qualifications    

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and prior auto parts sales experience (preferred)

Responsibilities  

  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
  • Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications    

  • 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification required
  • B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair
  • Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
